At MoonRiver we believe some people pursue happiness, we create it. We believe that quality of life is defined by good design and appreciation of beauty. Thus the first MoonRiver was started in September 2002 and with 2 stores nationwide, this initial philosophy has not changed

MoonRiver represents a vast selection of diferent types of home ware products, traditional as well as contemporary, presented with wit and imagination, that ofer ideas and suggestions to inspire anyone and everyone to create their own individual environment.

These can include the latest products from contemporary glass designers LSA International, a design classic from Murano, a classic silver plated tea service from England through to a lotus oil lamp from India and origami cards from Japan

A team of buyers and our Creative Director Radhika Gupta scour the world for new and exciting objects that fulfill the criteria of good design and quality at a reasonable price.

There is an extensive selection of accessories for the home from cushions, glasses, bowls, stationary, shelves of vases of all shapes and colours, leather luggage, and contemporary and antique jewelry.

The fact that several of the products for sale in the initial years can still be found in the shop today confirms not only the timelessness of good design but also the sound judgement of the original selection.

Many items are designed and made exclusively for MoonRiver. This is made possible by special relationships with our suppliers and by the work of our
buyers developing products with designers and manufacturers. The shop actively encourages new designers and businesses either by buying directly, often in small quantities to accommodate limited production, or by putting designers in touch with manufacturers and working with both to bring design to fruition. to mention some of the brands we carry and have carried in the past :
